Giannelli Rekord - restoration exhaust pipe

In this video, I restore a Giannelli rekord exhaust pipe. I repaired the fastenings, cleaned the old lacquer, and painted it with new lacquer. I also polished the muffler and finally installed it on a Yamaha Jog scooter and recorded how it sounds at idle.

Difficulties:
*The mount was badly damaged and had to be completely replaced.
The old varnish was very stubborn and difficult to remove.

Adviсe:
*Before painting, be sure to thoroughly clean the surface of dirt and grease.
*Use a high quality varnish that will withstand high temperatures.
*Allow the polish to dry completely before installing it on the scooter.

Advantages:
A remanufactured exhaust pipe will look like new.
It will be more resistant to corrosion and rust.
It will sound better.
