What to do in ANCHORAGE ALASKA- 1 Day Exploring Anchorage- Snow City Cafe and FREE Anchorage Museum!

How should you explore Anchorage? By Foot! We spend 1 day walking around Anchorage exploring the city and eating the best food!

Our Walk through Anchorage starts with Breakfast at Snow City Cafe which is probably the number one spot to have breakfast in Alaska! I had the king crab eggs benedict and Courtney picked the french toast all before our big walk around the city.

We checked out the Margaret E. Sullivan park to "ice skate" in our boots before stopping at the Fire Island Rustic Bakeshop on our way back to the hotel. We hit up the free night on the first Friday at the Anchorage Museum to explore and save some cash before having dinner at the Tent City Tap House.

The name tent city came from how fast Anchorage grew. At one point the city was full of tents as thousands of people moved north for the gold rush!

I started my full time travel journey at the start of 2020 when I quit my job. My plan was to travel the world, but my timing was horrible. I decided to stay closer to home and explore the US.
