any 5 or 6 types of vegetables of your choice
4 tbsp oil
bay leaves 4, cinnamon 1 inch, cardamoms 4
1 big onion
ginger and garlic paste 2 tsp EACH
curry leaves 2 sprigs
1 1/4 cup water to cook the vegetables
salt 1 tbsp
briyani powder 2 tsp
tumeric powder 1/2 tsp
coriander powder 1/2 tsp
cumin powder 1/2 tsp
2 tbsp yogurt
mint leaves 1/2 cup
coriander leaves 1/2 cup
3 3/4 cup water to cook the rice
2 cups basmathi rice ( soaked for 30 mins)

3 potatoes ( fried with a little salt)
2 tbsp ghee
1 bombay onion chopped
ginger / garlic paste 2 tsp each
salt 1/2 tsp
curry leaves
1 big onion fried
1 tsp garam masala
mushroom sauce 1 tbsp
sweet light soya sauce 1 tbsp
crushed black pepper 1 1/2 tbsp
chilli flakes 1 tbsp
mint leaves a handful
