Anthocyanins, a group of flavonoids responsible for the vibrant colors of berries, have been found to possess anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-cancer properties. These compounds can neutralize harmful free radicals, reduce oxidative stress, and inhibit the growth and spread of cancer cells.
