Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor 2 Pro and Vox AC10C1 - Jazz medley

Описание к видео Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor 2 Pro and Vox AC10C1 - Jazz medley

A jazz medley to demo a bit the Epiphone Joe Pass Emperor 2 Pro and Vox AC10C1.

I hesitated between this one and an epiphone ES-175, the ES-175 is nicer with pick attack but I prefer the Joe Pass for fingerpicking. EDIT: 21/08/19 - 2 years later, would pick an ES-125. EDIT 24/11/19 : To be more precise, it's a nice multi purpose hollow body, I use it in a blues project and for busking, sound amazing, but the es would have had a more typical sound. So +1 to the emporor for flexibility, and +1 to the es-125 for the jazzy "muffled" tone if looking for that ^^

I use D'Addario Chrome Flat Wounds 11 - EDIT: 21/08/19 : Now on Thomastik Jazz Swing FW 12 (js112), would recomend those better, but I heard sometimes hard to find in some location.

Anyway, a little sample with no effects, the guitar is plugged into a VOX AC10C1, gain 1/4, volume 1/2, EQ flat and 2/3 reverb.

Recorded with a Shure SM57 and an AKAI EIE Pro

I used no effects in the DAW, it's the "raw sound" of the guitar and the amp, no compressor, no EQ.

There's few bugs in the video, I had problems recording the video and syncing the audio after, I did my best :)

My pinky is paralized in folded position, that's why I barely use it, I can't move it easily :(
EDIT 08/19: Since those last two years I worked a lot on it and got back a lot of ability with my paralized pinky, thanks a lot for the motivating comments :)
