For PV designers (grid-tie) who are considering branching out to battery-based systems. We will be going over at a high level a simple basic off-grid system design. This will assist with understanding basic battery-based system concepts and system sizing methodologies that will be extremely helpful to designers and specifiers.

This session won’t be covering NEC code, string sizing, de-rating of PV and/or batteries, environmental impacts on system design, module technologies, battery technologies, array orientation/ layout.
