Hey guys here in this video I demonstrate how I think is best for the NOx Sensor install. I received a Check Engine Code 2201. Signs for this code typically means the sensor is dirty, clogged, or faulty. As I mention in the video try and clean the sensor first to save a few hundred dollars. Plus, doing it yourself will save another couple hundred dollars in labor charges. There are multiple ways on how the removal and install can take place but believe this method simplifies the job.


Please Note that there is also a "downstream" or Bank 2 NOx sensor. The module for this sensor is housed on the frame rail.


Refer to your manual for install as this video suggests my recommendation for the install. I hope this video helps you fix your diesel and get that annoying check engine light off.
