Orange Sky - 2023 Year in Review

At the close of the 2023 year, we can reflect on the incredible year of impact we had in the past 12 months.

Orange Sky worked hard to positively connect communities, supporting people with access to free mobile laundry, warm showers and genuine conversations.

The Vehicle Upgrade Project was completed, with 23 laundry and hybrid vans upgraded across Australia and four in New Zealand. All vans were equipped with Waru Dryers and solar & battery power to help make our vans more efficient, reliable and environmentally friendly.

This year Orange Sky saw growth in services, innovation and impact.

We launched laundry pod services in Gladstone, Bundaberg, Sunshine Coast and Canberra, helping more communities access clean laundry.
In remote communities, we launched four new services (Kalgoorlie, Yuendumu, Gapuwiyak & Doomadgee) to help provide access to health hardware, and local employment opportunities for residents.

We want to say a massive thank you to our philanthropists, corporate partners, volunteers and everyday people who have generously supported us in 2023 to help more Aussies doing it tough.
