In this tutorial, you’ll learn:
🍰 How to bake a simple vanilla cake that’s easy and reliable
🍰 The best way to release your cake from the pan without mess
🍰 How to level your cake for smooth, even layers

Recipe:
• 3/4 cup butter
• 1 3/4 cup granulated sugar
• 4 eggs
• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/2 tsp salt
• 2 1/2 tsp baking powder
• 1 1/4 cup milk
• 3 tsp vanilla extract
• 3 tsp vegetable oil

For two 8-inch pans, bake at 350°F for 33 minutes. For 9-inch pans, bake for 30 minutes.
Note: tsp = teaspoon, not tablespoon
