Our team at Apollo Chennai has been involved with heart transplantation. The first heart transplant at Apollo Chennai was done uh as early as 1995. um Currently, the team involves not just surgeons, but also heart failure physicians, transplant pharmacologists, intensive care, as well as GIID. So it's a large interdisciplinary team that looks after very sick patients. uh kind of satisfying aspects of transplantation is trying to identify these very sick patients in the window of transplantation.
