American Gods: 2x2 – The Beguiling Man

Synopsis – When coming up to a dead end while searching for Shadow, Laura and Sweeney get out of the car and Laura goes and lays in the field in front of them. She explains to Sweeney that she might as well give up to which he responds by telling her not to give up on Shadow.

After a sudden change of heart, Sweeney tells Laura there is a quicker way to get to Shadow, and after she argues with Sweeney about him not informing her sooner, he hugs her and tells her to think about Shadow as they are going to use the Horde (Vault where he gets his coins from) to get to him.

Once they get to Shadow’s location, Laura breaks off Sweeney’s handcuffs to which they then jump on the train Shadow is being held/transported on.
