First Impressions: Behringer Spice | Live Jam & Exploration

After a long wait, the *Behringer Spice* finally arrived, and I couldn’t wait to dive in! This is my first live jam with the device after about 2 hours of experimenting with its many knobs and controls. The possibilities this unit offers will take some time to fully explore, but even at this early stage, I’m loving the results.

Admittedly, the biggest challenge was figuring out how to tune the device—typical me, trying to skip the manual! (Pro tip: press *Play & Stop* and *Seq/Oct* together, and voilà—no more out-of-tune "desperate puppy" sounds.)

The session was recorded live with the *Empress Reverb* as the main effect, straight into my Zoom recorder. No DAW, just pure, hands-on creativity. I’m excited to explore the patch points in depth soon, especially in combination with my modular synth—it’s going to be amazing!
