End Grain Cutting Board (Maple)

Follow this step by step build process to make a beautiful end grain Cutting board out of Hard Maple. I'll walk you through the finer points of milling, sawing, glueing, and finishing one of these awesome "counter-top butcher blocks". Follow along or feel free to reach out with any questions! 5/4 (1.25") Hard Maple Sourced from Capitol City Lumber in Raleigh, NC.

Ryobi Chamfer bit.
Kobalt Sliding 12" Mitre Saw
Saw Stop Contractor Table Saw
Dewalt (735) Planer

Finish
-100% Mineral Oil
- Homemade Mombo Woodworks Cutting board finishing wax.

While I may have used my shop tools to speed this up and batch several out, you can just use a straight edge, a circular saw, wood glue and A LOT of sandpaper for 100% of this build. Just follow the steps above and feel free to reach out if you have any questions!
