I always love beer advertising that comes with the story, and this certainly is a great one. My buddy Mike found this little gem in the corner of a box of Miller beer tap knobs. He didn’t realize it was anything, because the face was blackened in. these are scarce in the Beer world. Since I specialize in collecting this type of knob, he approached me about bringing it back to its old glory so you could read the brand clearly. I was thrilled to take on this project and thought I would share it with you all. 


These beer knobs were required by law in the 1930s and this particular style was made by the DakaWare company of Chicago Illinois. They are easily recognized with their Convex brass face held on by two nails on a spherical bakelight knob that’s threaded onto the tap.  they usually have two colors in the tap face, red or black.
