At the Cape Cod Chamber Orchestra, we have a vision for classical music on Cape Cod; by collaborating with individuals, organizations, and local causes, our orchestra aims to highlight the unique history and people of the Cape while providing high quality, enriching, and memorable music for small orchestra. We believe the key to inspiring our audience is by infusing contemporary music with local Cape flavor, performing music by traditionally under-represented composers, and offering an intimate classical music experience. Past season projects have included collaborations with poet Judy Askew, the Harwich Guild of Artists, the Edward Gorey House, and the Whydah Pirate Museum. In 2020, the CCCO took home the 1st Prize in the American Prize Competition for Orchestral Performance and was recently named the "Best New Cultural Attraction of 2019" by Yankee Magazine.
