Day 5 | Scuba Diving in Havelock Island | Andaman & Nicobar Islands | All you need to know

This video is about Scuba Diving in Havelock Island. Havelock Island is a famous and prominent destination for activity like Scuba. It provides an amazing experience. Once can witness the marine life, corals etc.
For beginners Shore Dive is suggested. Shore dive goes deeper till 10ms and this itself gives you the out of world feeling. Minimum age limit for Scuba 10 yrs but there is no maximum age limit as per PADI.
You will be given 15 mins of training before you get inside water where you will be taught signs and symbols to communicate underwater.

NOTE : Scuba Diving is safe activity but one needs to avoid performing Scuba if suffering from any issues like B.P, Sugar, Heart problem, Lungs problem, Eardrum issues or any surgeries that happened in last 6 months.

Rs. 3,500
Sometimes due to season change it is Rs. 4,000

How to reach Havelock Island:-
To reach Havelock Island, you need to buy a ticket for a Govt ferry or Private Ferries
These ferries have timings, please go through the website of Private ferries like Makruzz, Green Ocean, Sealink
For govt ferries, you can check the timings in Andaman tourism nic website or you can check directly in Phoenix Bay Jetty

Time taken by Ferry to reach Havelock from Port Blair :-
Govt Ferry : 2.5 Hours (Direct ferry to Havelock, if Ferry goes via Neil island then this time will increase)
Private Ferry : 2 Hours

Price of the ferry :-
Govt ferry will cost Rs. 560
Private ferry will costs starting Rs. 1300
