The Police and Crime Commissioner for Surrey has launched Surrey Police's new Animal Welfare Scheme in partnership with Dogs Trust. Volunteers hand-picked from the Independent Custody Visitor programme will tour the force's internationally-renowned Dog School at Mount Browne in Guildford to report back on the welfare of police dogs.
