I've tested the performance of various graphical presets for Final Fantasy XVI (16) on the Steam Deck OLED, and here are my findings:

Low preset (FSR 1: Auto, dyn. res: On): ~24-36 FPS
Low preset (FSR 3: Auto, dyn. res: On): ~24-34 FPS
Low preset (FSR 3: Auto, dyn. res: Off): ~24-28 FPS
Low preset (FSR 3: Native, dyn. res: Off): ~17-23 FPS
Low preset (FSR 3: Quality, dyn. res: Off): ~23-28 FPS
Low preset (FSR 3: Balance, dyn. res: Off): ~24-33 FPS
Low preset (FSR 3: Performance, dyn. res: Off): ~24-34 FPS
Low preset (FSR 3: Ultra Performance, dyn. res: Off): ~25-37 FPS
Low preset (FSR 3: Ultra Performance, dyn. res: Off, FG: On): ~25-30 FPS
Medium preset (FSR 3: Auto, dyn. res: On): ~22-32 FPS
Medium preset (FSR 3: Auto, dyn. res: Off): ~19-26 FPS
High preset (FSR 3: Auto, dyn. res: On): ~20-32 FPS
High preset (FSR 3: Auto, dyn. res: Off): ~17-25 FPS
Ultra preset (FSR 3: Auto, dyn. res: On): ~16-25 FPS
Ultra preset (FSR 3: Auto, dyn. res: Off): ~15-21 FPS

Overall, the game barely runs on the Steam Deck, and only on the Low settings I think its playable. And during fights, the framerate drops even further.

I recommend playing on the Low preset with FSR 3: Balance and Dyn.res: off for a somewhat playable experience.
