Breath of Fire II Part 08 - Kung-Fu Katt

Now the game is progressing nicely, both the plot and the gameplay-wise!

First note, Lin is Katt. I will let you all check internet for the name-ology.

Secondly the boss(es) is quite difficult. Lin is speedy and hit hard. Pre-emptive healing is in order here.

As soon as we got control of Ryu and Lin, it is best to hit the bank and the shop early and fully stack Lin with new gears. The second boss, is way harder. The boss strike twice and if it's a charge-strike combo, any of Ryu and Lin will be OHKO. I actually game over the first try due to the boss did the combo twice to Lina and Ryu (hence I also lost my Firecracker ). If you still have it, use the Firecracker for easy 180-ish damage.

Breath of Fire II is one of the famous BoF series released originally in 1995 for SNES. It has been re-released for GBA and even now we can play it in Switch via SNES Library. As of now, the Capcom Town website offers free to play BoF II!

This is a 'first-time' playthrough (I actually have played the GBA version back then), so nothing fancy or completionism or anything. I will use the description to add any information that I would know, and will make some notes for any interesting mechanic that I found. I also used the SNES rom-hacked version because I feel the translation is better and all, whilst the difficulty is the default one.
