After attempting to capture Count Dooku, Captain Rex, Obi-wan Kenobi and the men of the 501st have found themselves deep behind enemy lines, with no support and waves of droids soon to descend upon them. Seeking to change their fortunes and seize the initiative, they mount up with what few vehicles they have left, and cut straight towards the republic front line. If they can breakthrough, they will hit the main separatist army in the flank, and allow their clone brothers in the republic spearhead to capture the critical droid foundries. But with smoke billowing into their air from their downed gunship, their current position is well known, so they opt the fastest route through Death Valley, a wide ravine cutting deep behind the droid front line.
But it is no feeble battle droid marshalling the CIS defences, but the tactical supremacy of TA-17. Predicting Rex and Kenobi’s approach vector, he has taken charge of the response himself and set the ultimate trap, deploying his finest commandoes and droid ordance to lay in ambush. If his calculations are correct not a single speeder will reach the Republic Forces.
But General Kenobi and Captain Rex are no ordinary soldiers. This is the Republic’s chance to shut down this conflict and maintain peace and order throughout the galaxy. The burden may fall to a just few good men, but the force is with them.
