Fact about Chemical Engineering in Tianjin University:
1. Chemical Engineering and Technology in SCET has ranked No.1 in China Discipline Ranking (CDR) for consecutive ranking years of 2003, 2006, and 2012 by the Ministry of Education and lead the subject for ten years in China.

2. Based on the discipline of Chemical Engineering, Tianjin Co-Innovation Center of Chemical Science and Engineering (COIC_CSE) was established with the collaboration with Nankai University and became one of the first 14 national strategic science research platforms in "2011 Plan" in 2014.

3. In 2008，Bachelor of Engineering(BEng) Degree program in Chemical Engineering accredited by IChemE as “Master Level”. It is the first IChemE certification in China and Tianjin University become the second university with IChemE "Master Level" in Asia. In April 2014, SCET passed the IChemE accreditation renewal successfully.
