Late at night on Oct. 20, 2019, an EF-3 tornado ripped through North Dallas, doing a great deal of damage to the Preston Royal Shopping Center. In this footage from H-E-B, you can see how the high winds shredded some parts of the large Central Market grocery store at the shopping center.

The video was released along with the announcement of a reopening date in Spring 2021 for the Central Market store, as well as a $1M donation to Dallas ISD campuses in North Dallas that were also hit by the tornado.
