ইসলামে ৪টি প্রাণী হত্যা করা নিষেধ!! মানব জীবনে ব্যাঙের অবদান জানলে অবাক হবেন!! ইসলামে কোন কোন প্রাণী হত্যা করা যবে না।
প্রতিটি প্রাণী কোন না কোন উদ্দেশ্যে আল্লাহ তাআলা সৃষ্টি করেছেন। তাদের প্রত্যেকেই আলাদা আলাদা, এদের অনেকেরই উপকার আমরা প্রায় প্রতিদিন পেয়ে থাকি, এদের দিকে লক্ষ্য করলে আমরা এদের উপকারিতা ও প্রয়োজনীয়তা লক্ষ করতে পারি, তবে যাদেরকে দেখে আমাদের মনে হয় যে এরা সমাজের জন্য অপকারী বা তাদের কোনো প্রয়োজন নেই ,তাদেরও প্রয়জনিয়তা রয়েছেন, উদাহরণ হিসেবে বলা যেতে পারে কাক। কাককে অনেকে অশুভ চিন্তা করে আর অনেক আগে এদেরকে শুধু অকল্যাণের দূত হিসেবে দেখতো মানুষ। কিন্তু এদের উপকারিতা হলো এরা পরিবেশের ময়লা আবর্জনা পরিষ্কারের কাজ করে । এমন সচেতনমূলক দৃষ্টিতে দেখলে অনেক প্রাণীর ভালো দিকগুলো বেরিয়ে আসবে । আর এমন অনেকে প্রাণী আছে যাদের প্রয়োজনীয়তা বা তাদের বিশেষ গুণ অথবা তাদের সৃষ্টির কারনগুলো বের করা যায়নি। আবার এমন কিছু প্রাণী আছে যা আল্লাহর রাসূল সাল্লাল্লাহু আলাইহি ওয়াসাল্লাম তাদেরকে হত্যা করতে নিষেধ করেছেন। কোন কোন প্রাণী হত্যা করা নিষেধ। ইবনে আব্বাস (রা.) থেকে বর্ণিত, তিনি বলেন, নবী (সা.) চার প্রকার প্রাণী হত্যা করতে বারণ করেছেন, পিঁপড়া, মধুমক্ষিকা, হুদহুদ পাখি এবং চড়ুইসদৃশ বাজপাখি। (আবু দাউদ, হাদিস : ৫২৬৭)
