How to Paint Black Templars for Warhammer 40k

Black Templars were actually the 'first' space marines I got to see since they were the poster faction for the 3rd edition rulebook. I decided to see if I could bring the scheme from the book up to a grimdark modern standard as well as show an easy way I like to approach black armor. This approach uses a minimal color set as well as contrasts over metallics to achieve both interesting texture and variation in an otherwise monochrome scheme.

Did I mention it only uses 7 paints including washes and glow?
