Mount Rainier National Park | Knapsack Pass & Spray Park Loop Trail | An Epic Day Hike in Mt Rainier

Описание к видео Mount Rainier National Park | Knapsack Pass & Spray Park Loop Trail | An Epic Day Hike in Mt Rainier

The Knapsack Pass and Spray Park Loop Trail is a strenuous 6-mile (9.6 km) hike in a remote corner of Mount Rainier National Park. Despite the difficulty, the dramatic landscapes and stunning views of Mt. Rainier make the effort worthwhile. We started at Mowich Lake Campground, and steadily ascended through deep forests, past Spray Falls, and into alpine meadows toward Mt. Pleasant. The view of Mt. Rainier from the top was breathtaking! The trail then follows the ridge down to a snowfield and boulders. This section was not clearly marked, requiring careful navigation over loose rocks to reach Knapsack Pass. From the Pass, the trail descends back to Mowich Lake. It was a tough hike, but the blooming wildflowers along the trail made it the perfect time to visit Mt. Rainier.
