System 55 modular 960 sequencer ratcheting

Описание к видео System 55 modular 960 sequencer ratcheting

Improvised spontaneous piece recorded live to stereo without post processing or overdubs using 2x 960 sequential controllers, 2x 962 sequential switches, 2 x 921B VCOs, 2 x 911 ADSRs, 1x 921 VCO as LFO, 904A VCF, 902 VCA, CP3A-M MIXER and CP3A-O oscillator Controller.
The ratcheting is achieved using 2x Doepfer A 160-5 modules. The lower 960 is being used to send CV to control to these - top row to one and middle row to the other. The middle 962 is fed by three different clocks - 1 = same clock as is fed to the sequencers 2= ratcheted gates from the left hand A 160-5 3= a clock double the frequency of the clock going to sequencers. The right hand A 160-5 sends a different pattern of ratchets to a Pro~1 which is controlled by the same pitch CV as the other modules.
The sequence pitch is transposed by a CV from a Keystep which is summed in the CP3A-O module.
A slow LFO sine wave from the 921 is also added in this module with the amount controlled by a pot.
