Описание к видео Big Little Herbal Tips: Plantain

Big Little Herbal Tips: Plantain

Plantain (Plantago sp.)

Plantain is not only a nourishing weed, it is a first-aid wonder plant, easing pain and itching, stopping bleeding and swelling, and even adds antiseptic properties to help clean a wound and prevent infection!

I tincture the fresh leaves, make infused oil, dry it for infusions, and eat lots of it in my salads!
Try some plantain (plantago major, plantago lanceolata or whatever species is near you. (I ate seaside plantain up in Maine!)

Spiritually, I have found plantain to be a reliable ally for restoring joie de vivre!

🌟✨🌟

Body: healing to skin, respiratory, digestive, urinary and immune systems. Leaves are astringent and demulcent, antiseptic, anti-inflammatory, mucilage-rich and soothing, styptic, drawing, wound-healing, and itch- and pain-relieving. Leaves are nourishing raw or cooked, useful for an eyewash, specific for anemia and “failure to thrive” in infants; roots are used, too, especially for venomous bites. Seeds are a mucilaginous, bulk-forming laxative, and are used in the treatment of parasites.

Mind: refreshes and renews a tired, jaded, or cynical mind.

Heart: uplifts the heart by connecting it with the joy and abundance of simple treasures that are underfoot.

Soul: relieves deep pain in the soul in a quiet, unassuming way.

“This book has changed my life! I have struggled with a torn meniscus for almost 10 years. The only route that I was offered this far down the road was surgery. In a final effort to avoid surgery, I started investigating herbal healing remedies. This is one of the few books I found that even made mention of meniscus injuries - and did so in depth! I have been following all of the advice in the book as well as targeted strength exercise and I am finally on my way to healing. I am in awe. I am inspired. I am a changed person. I am now absorbing all of the book and am planning on purchasing other books to learn how to grow my own healing herbs. Quick shipping to top it off! Thank you, thank you!” KMS
