SWANSEA CITY Christmas Parade 2019

SWANSEA CITY Christmas Parade 2019...The weather was perfect for this spectacular Christmas Parade on Sunday Evening.

The Council promised us a great event, and they certainly lived up to that.

To add to the Christmas parade, they were also celebrating 50 years of having city status.

The parade started in Wind Street then onto Castle Square, Castle Street, The High Street, Orchard Street, The Kingway, and finished in Westway Street, a distance of nearly two miles.

Father Christmas stopped at two huge Christmas trees to turn on their lights, one in Castle Square and the other on the Kingsway.

The Lord Mayor of the County Swansea City, Peter Black, and his consort were in a convertible BMW., said the parade is a massive success.

Four Victoria/Edwardian Police officers lead the parade with the band of the 215 (City of Swansea) Squadron Air Cadets.
