In the second part of the interview with Professor Alessia Contu, she continues discussing intellectual activism and, specifically, shares how it influences the development and design of an empirical study. She explains how - in a research project focusing on social equality in a public US business school and carried out with Dr Jared Poole and Dr Patricia Naya - intellectual activism becomes a force that pushed them to think about specific intersecting issues. In illustrating the features of this research project, she considers how intellectual activism shaped the topic, the setting and the domain of their research.
