Godhuma rava pulihora recipe.

Ingredients
1 cup - Godhuma Rava
Salt to taste
Juice of 2 large lemons
1/2 tsp - Turmeric Powder
2 tbsps - Gold Drop Refined Sunflower Oil
1/4 tsp - Mustard Seeds
1/4 tsp - Cumin Seeds
3-4 Dry Red Chillies (medium)
1 tbsp - Chana Dal/Senaga Pappu
1 tbsp - Urad Dal/Minappapu
4 Green Chillies (slit lengthwise)
1 1/4 tsps - Ginger (finely chopped)
1/4 tsp - Hing
A few Curry Leaves
2 tsps - Peanuts
10 Cashew Nuts
A few Coriander Leaves
Recipe Process:
In a vessel, add godhuma rava and roast for 2 minutes and keep it aside.
Take a vessel, add 1 and 1/2 cups of water, 1/2 tsp salt, and bring to a boil.
Add godhuma rava and combine. Place the lid, reduce the flame and cook till soft. Turn off heat.
Once cool, spread out the cooked godhuma rava on a wide plate.
Now squeeze out juice from the lemons, add 1/2 tsp salt and combine. Keep aside.
I'm using Gold Drop Refined Sunflower Oil. Gold Drop oil is best for its quality and I like how the food tastes when cooked in this oil. It brings back memories of food my mother cooks, traditional and authentic.
Heat the oil in a thick bottomed vessel, add the mustard seeds and let them splutter.
Add dry red chillies, cumin seeds, chana dal, urad dal and fry until the dals change in colour.
Next add the slit green chillies, ginger, hing, curry leaves, peanuts, cashew nuts and 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and fry for 10-15 secs.
Add the seasoning and lemon juice to the cooked godhuma rava and mix well.
Adjust salt and add more lemon juice if required.
Let it sit for at least 30 minutes before you serve.
