On 8th December 2023, the DeImp 2023 conference took place in Berlin-Kreuzberg, organized by BerChain e.V. in cooperation with Berlin Partner. After a brief welcome, the program commenced with presentations on the 'Web3 Impact Database' and 'Sustainability Services.' This was followed by pitch presentations, workshops, and a panel discussion, with a focus on the diversity within the sustainability community in the blockchain/Web3 community. Key figures addressed the question of why many believe that Blockchain/Web3 can serve as an enabler for sustainability. The concluding networking event brought together experts from various fields for direct exchange - once again, Berlin proved to be a hub where technology and sustainability intersect and are contemplated together.
