The 2016-17 season was a huge improvement from last year for Sidney Crosby. His TOI was actually decreased to a 19:53 but that just made him even more fierce as he put on a killer season. His consistent goal scoring was reminiscent of his 2009-10 season but not as much. He was very consistent in points and was battling with Connor Mcdavid for the points lead for most of the season but unfortunately for Crosby, he dropped a bit and got 2nd in the league. He did however, win the Rocket Richard which is his 2nd in his career. He had an amazing 44 goals to lead the league, 45 assists and 89 points in 75 games.
