Kjell Braaten - Veland

On a rainy autumn day in 2015, I found myself in a cabin by the ocean. The cabin was filled with drums from all corners of the world, and the view was incredible! That combination is magical, and magic tends to create more magic.

The evening ended in three improvised takes on top of each other. Sticks, brushes, and mallets.
Due to unfortunate circumstances, I lost the original recordings shortly after, and only this raw mix survived.

A few friends asked me a while ago why I never released it. And... Well... I could not find a reasonable answer, so here it is!

Veland is the name of the place it created itself.

I took the cover picture of my drums that same evening.
