B3313 (1.0.2) - Gameplay - Part 1 [VHS]

In this video, I play B3313, a mod for Super Mario 64 that aims to recreate the aesthetic of beta builds from the game's development and plays into the conspiracy theories surrounding the game that popped up in 2019/2020. It's a huge hack, and quite frankly one of the best I've ever seen, let alone played.

Having learned about the hack in September and noticing that a lot of screenshots and gameplay footage used fake NTSC/VHS filters, I planned to record myself playing this hack onto an actual VHS tape using an HDMI to composite adapter hooked up to an actual VCR while I had the chance to during a family vacation. I ended up picking up a couple of VHS tapes while I was there and started recording.

This is the first part where I start a new save file. This part gets cut short because the VCR I was using to record my gameplay kept turning itself off at some point and I was actually afraid it was going to jam. I ended up fast forwarding for a bit and then it was fine, and that footage will be uploaded at a later date.
