The One and the Many at the MILTON RESNICK AND PAT PASSLOF FOUNDATION

A PLACE FOR PAINTING…James Kalm, as an unapologetic “paint-head,” has been trying to get into, and record video at the Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation for a year. Thanks to the reopening, your correspondent was able to snag Geoffrey Dorfman, a friend of Pat and Milton, and a Trustee, for a brief introductory conversation on their work, and the program at the Foundation. Viewers will also tour the exhibition “The One and the Many” curated by Geoffrey, and featuring painted works that contrast the approaches of the “monochrome” versus the “mark maker” with: Rosaire Appel, Brett Baker, Ruth Ann Fredenthal, Marcia Hafif, Alan Kleiman, and Howard Smith.
