MASTER Excel Geography Data in Minutes NOT Hours

Geography data in Excel is a useful feature that allows you to work with geographical data, such as country names, states, or cities, by converting them into data types linked to real-world information.

Here’s how you can use Geography in Excel:

1. Set Up the Geography Data Type:
Enter the location names (e.g., countries, cities, or regions) in a column.
Highlight the cells with the location data.
Go to the Data tab on the ribbon.
In the Data Types group, click on Geography. Excel will convert the text to a linked data type.
2. Insert Related Data:
Once Excel recognizes the data as geographical entities, you can extract more details about them:

Click on the small Insert Data icon that appears beside the cells.
A list of available fields (like population, area, GDP, etc.) will appear.
Click on a field to add it as a column in your worksheet.
