Using the Torch to Create Patina, Distressed Finishes, Embossing Metal

Описание к видео Using the Torch to Create Patina, Distressed Finishes, Embossing Metal

In this video we'll explore the idea of torching brass stampings to achieve patina, which makes a great foundation for colorization using alcohol inks, Gilder's Paste and Ranger Perfect Pearls. We will also explore design ideas using the findings used in the 'antique brooch' B'sue found on her fall trip, which was really one she made in 2001, from vintage style findings. We carry these very findings at http://www.bsueboutiques.com along with most of the mixed media product found in this video. Also discussed is adding colored to distressed Rusty Black and Chocolate Ox Patina (choxie) brass stampings with Gilder's Paste, Perfect Pearls and paints. We'll talk a bit about using Deco Emboss metal folders to imprint a design on lightweight blanks such as the ones we carry at B'sue Boutiques. Share your work with us! We would love to have you join B'sue Boutiques Creative Group: http://www.flickr.com/groups/bsuebout... Questions, Please contact B'sue through her website at bsueboutiques.com or at Facebook, at the B'sue Boutiques Facebook Fan Page. #BSue_Boutiques
