I caught this spectacular display of nacreous clouds (polar stratospheric clouds) visible from North Yorkshire, UK on 21 December 2023. I first noticed them to the east around 8am. They brightened and developed throughout the day and were still visible after 4pm. This is the first display I've seen from here since 2016. They were an amazing and beautiful sight. I used Canon 550D and 250D cameras with 18mm and 300mm lenses for the shots.
