NEXT GOAL WINS, BEHIND THE STORY: Get the lowdown on this amazing new film

Stars of the American Samoa national football team and figures from the film industry descended on Wembley this week for a unique event charting the fortunes of the 'worst football team in the world' and its history-making transgender player.

Next Goal Wins, set for national release in cinema's across the UK later this month, chronicles all of this and more, and has been embraced by The Football Association due to its messages of inclusion, diversity and triumph over hardship.

Coach Thomas Rongen, who was enlisted by the American Samoa national federation and Jaiyah Saelua, a member of American Samoa's 'third gender', the Fa'afafine, a Samoan term that denotes a person of the male gender with feminine qualities, discussed their experiences to a live audience at Wembley after the film was screened earlier this week.....
