Elegant Vintage 40s Updo: Styling Tutorial

This is the styling part of my elegant vintage 40s updo! In this video I will show you how easy it can be to get a stunning hairstyle with such a simple set!  As you undo each roller, keep in mind that you want to keep the ends of your hair as curly as possible. As I’m styling this, I divide each curl into 3-4 sections and shape each by twisting them around my finger with some pomade. You want to create the image of loose effortless curls.  as always. You will need:

Pomade (I use suavecita brand pomade but hairspray or a hair oil/anti frizz serum will also work. I like pomade because it can tame the frizz as well add some hold)

Bobby pins and flat pins (or decorative vintage combs or celluloid pins)
