Abstract of Presentation/Paper:
This paper is about the Internet of Things and its impact on user privacy along with the new security issues associated with the Internet of Things and its devices. This paper analyzes the critical failures of proper security measures when releasing IoT products as well as the infringement of user’s rights that accompany this technology. This paper intends to show the multifaceted, global issues that we face today and will continue to face in the future if awareness is not brought to, or solutions are not made for these issues.
