US President Donald Trump has issued a stark warning to Iran, threatening to destroy the nation if it tries anything. Trump claimed that over 51 Iranian naval ships have been sunk and now lie at the bottom of the sea. He stated that the US has struck over 5,000 targets in Iran, significantly degrading the country's missile and drone capabilities to approximately 10 percent. Trump declared that Operation Epic Fury and related military actions have been highly successful, with the US ahead of its initial timeline. Iran has responded by threatening to block oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz, warning that not even one litre of oil will be allowed to pass. Trump countered that the US Navy will escort tankers through the strait if necessary. He expressed dissatisfaction with Iran's choice of Mojtaba Khamenei as the new supreme leader, indicating he wants internal Iranian leadership but not Khamenei's son. Trump also announced the waiving of certain oil-related sanctions to reduce global prices.
