In this week’s Contemplative Living Livestream, We look at how we can begin sharpening the mind. Technology makes us impatient and forgetful. So, let’s build our attention span back up. Our mind is dense with thoughts, emotions, and cognitive content, but when focused on the breath, it narrows, gets sharper and is more precise. Our Mind is increasingly capable of becoming aware of just a thin sliver of experience presenting itself in the present moment. Take time to sharpen your mind. Stillness exercise brings clarity. Enhance your body's ability to communicate with exercise. If we don’t have clarity, we try to make it up with confidence. Confidence is not a substitute for clarity. We need Clarity. We have no control over what confronts us when we step out our door, except our Clarity of Mind.
