On July 24th, 2024 at approximately 0712 hrs, I responded to Shell at 2701 MacArthur in   reference to an aggravated assault. The caller stated that a truck driver in a blue truck pointed a gun at customers. Investigator Cody Brown stopped the driver and took him into custody and seized his handgun. See his supplement for details. Officers House and Humphries spoke with the victims, . They stated that they were traveling on I-30 East to I-40 West. They stated that Kelvinn Gathright was traveling beside them and entered their lane and almost hit them. They stated that they extended a middle finger toward the driver. The victims stated that they went to Shell at 2701 MacArthur for a drink. They stated that the tractor trailer Mr. Gathright was driving entered the parking lot and he threatened them with a handgun. I observed video of this incident from the store cameras. are standing in the parking lot. Mr. Gathright pulls into the lot and exits his vehicle. He walks toward them in a hostile manner and has a handgun in his hand. He points the gun at and steps back. He then approaches and points the gun at him as attempts to hide behind the truck. Mr. Gathright then gets back into his truck and attempts to leave. The victims were provided crime victims rights forms. The tractor trailer was towed incident to arrest. An inventory of the vehicle was conducted.
 Mr. Gathright had an undisclosed amount of cash in $10,000 bands in a clear plastic bag inside of a tote bag on the bottom bunk of the cab. He had 5 handguns in a tool bag on the top bunk of the cab. Officer Humphries took possession of the guns and cash. Officer Rodriguez and the Investigations Division responded to the scene. See their supplements for details. The vehicle was towed to the City Compound for a search. During the search, Officers found 3 loaded firearm magazines. I took custody of the magazines and entered them into the property room for safekeeping. I also entered a CD with video from the incident into the property room to be stored as evidence. After the search, the tractor trailer was towed to J Hook Towing.
