(Also known as Factory Reset via Recovery Mode – this will erase all data)

⮕ Step 1: Power Off the Device
⮕ Press and hold the Power button.
⮕ When the power menu appears, tap Power off and wait for the device to shut down completely.

⮕ Step 2: Enter Recovery Mode
⮕ Once the phone is off, press and hold the Volume Up button and the Power button at the same time.
⮕ Keep holding both buttons until the HONOR logo appears, then release them.

⮕ Step 3: Navigate Recovery Menu
⮕ You will now see the EMUI Recovery screen.
⮕ Use the Volume Up and Down buttons to move through the menu.
⮕ Use the Power button to select.

⮕ Step 4: Select Wipe Data/Factory Reset
⮕ Scroll to Wipe data/factory reset using the volume buttons.
⮕ Press the Power button to select it.

⮕ Step 5: Confirm Wipe
⮕ A confirmation screen will appear asking you to confirm the reset.
⮕ Select Factory data reset again using the power button.
⮕ The phone will begin erasing all data.

⮕ Step 6: Wait for Reset to Complete
⮕ The wiping process may take several minutes.
⮕ Once it’s complete, you will return to the recovery menu.

⮕ Step 7: Reboot the Device
⮕ Now select Reboot system now from the recovery menu.
⮕ Press the Power button to confirm.
⮕ The device will restart and boot up like new.
