💁🏽‍♀️ ᴀʙᴏᴜᴛ ᴍᴇ
I was born in Mumbai (Bombay back then!) but my roots are in Goa. After being born in and spending thirty years of my life in the big city, I decided it was time to pack up & try a new kind of living in South Goa. I also enjoy makeup, playing dress up, cooking, pottery, gardening, DIY, and just trying new things in general - this channel is an extension of all of that. Thanks for being here, I do hope you stick around.

My first birthday since moving to Goa, I wanted it to be super low key & quiet. I'm the type of person that gets easily overwhelmed on my birthday (I'm not entirely sure why but it's been that way for at least a decade) & I really cherish my quiet time. It was also a good day to reflect on what being 32 means to me & lessons from the last year.

When I just got to Goa I spent the first few months being super euphoric but I also ended up not listening to me body, pushing myself too hard & burning out several times. I also felt lonely a lot especially during the last monsoon season. But since the start of 2024 a few wonderful things have happened. I got to go back to Mumbai & spend time with my friends there. I also found quiz club - it feels fantastic to socialise with a diverse group of people & regularly do an activity that I love. And lastly but perhaps most significantly, a few weeks ago I got my adult ADHD diagnosis. It's something I've known that I had for a while but formally going through the process helped me learn a lot about myself including the fact that this is something I've struggled with since early childhood. Getting a late neurodivergent diagnosis has been life changing because I've always felt different & that I can't relate to many people as easily & that while I am very good at creative or complex tasks, I often struggle with the most basic ones. That's why I've felt so at peace & validated recently, it's like the best gift I could ever give myself.

Didn't intend to write an essay here but I guess it happened. Thanks for being here, I value this community we've built very greatly. Mumbai vlogs will continue after this.
