In Brussels, European Union leaders have urged Israel to release withheld tax revenues belonging to the Palestinian Authority and take steps to ease tensions in the West Bank and East Jerusalem.

At the EU summit, leaders also called for an end to settlement expansion and military operations, including the controversial E1 project. They expressed concern over rising settler violence and the worsening humanitarian crisis across Palestinian territories.
