In which Flowergrace creates Starclan :))

WEEE it was literally such a pleasure to do this part for Noah's Ark's sequel map!! It's already DONE and OUT and you should go watch it right now if you haven't already :DDD I put. An absurd amount of detail into this lol 💀

The intention was for it to be a Christmas/holiday gift from me to youuuu and lookie!! It's here!!! :DD Thank you guys for the absolutely wonderful support that you've given me in my... just a little over two years here animating for maps!! :0 I've made really great friends and have gotten to work on amazing projects, and I'm so grateful to be here sharing things with you :)) I hope to continue making cool things long into the future ♥ ♥ ♥

Ok. It's lore time :) This is a big one OvO

So! As I might have said before, my Warriors OCs are an au version of my original story/universe but in a Warriors setting! In light of that, some of the details from the original Warriors universe are a bit different... And one of the most important things is Starclan.

Here, legends say that the world was crafted by four siblings referred to as the First Folk. (Technically, you've sort of seen all four of them already if you were around to see my Constellations part ;) You might have seen two in the flesh, and that's Flowergrace and Lakesight)
An incident occurs (Hollow Moon map part...) that upsets their peaceful world and Flowergrace finds herself completely alone, save for twelve faithful followers. But she is not powerful enough to restore balance to the world alone... so she comes up with a plan (Noah's Ark map part 😔 and yes. the cat directly in front of her here is good old Friend).

Flowergrace splits her flowery heart into twelve pieces - one for each of her faithful friends - sacrificing herself to disperse her power among them and multiply theirs, and they become known as Starclan.

Starclan are a powerful but withheld force in the world, a council of Twelve that act as guides to healers and leaders of clans, restoring balance and doling out justice as they see fit. They safeguard the starry spirits of cats in the constellations wreathed around their tails, and generally keep to themselves, lurking amongst the stars in the distant sky unless the clans are in dire need.
Though Starclan tends to act in unison and the clans have long since forgotten their individual names (which Starclan also tends to keep secret from them, as their names have power), each of the Twelve have their own legends and titles that have been passed down through generations.

In order of appearance from left to right (not including Flowergrace of course, who is in the middle), these cats are "The Winterwind" (Ripplechill), "The Piercer" (Boldspark), "The Teller" (Chaossong), "The Silverlight" ('Friend' (you don't get to know his name yet, that's spoiler territory now :) ), "The Radiant" (Goldenlight), "The Timekeeper" (Thymepiece), "The Spacemaker" (Cometflight), "The Springgust" (Petaldust), "The Summerwind" (Beetleblossom), "The Blossomer" (Lilybloom), "The Autumnfall" (Patchworkpale), and "The Seer" (Tallmount).
(The split-screen shot (dead working on that 💀) has them all arranged in the circular order they're in around Flowergrace. The cat in the last shot is Friend :))

Even though they are held in incredibly high regard by the clans, at the end of the day Starclan are just normal cats with a lot of extra responsibility and power in their paws. They hold their heads high with dignity, they remember that Starclan was born out of necessity - but they miss the old days, and they dearly miss the friend that gave them everything.
