Logitech G923 ACC Real World Noise Level

Wheel is secured to rig by screws and clamps so no movement in wheel base. Video sound taken from 7dmkii built in mic. which is approx. 2ft away so the noise level of the paddle shift gives you a better idea of the wheel noise level.

In ACC the noise is worse with cars like the AMG AMR GT3. Bentley and some others are ok. It isn't just in ACC but in other games like DiRT Rally 2.0 there are more options for FFB. In DiRT Rally 2.0 turning down suspension to 60% reduces the noise greatly without losing rotational FFB strength.

Replacement wheel arrived 07/05/21 and has same issue with noise in ACC. Also came with a broken rotary dial, not that it's reliable when working. 3rd wheel arrived 15/05/21 same issue. Will make do until I get a Fanatec CSL DD.

Equivalent to a freight train at 15m or motorbike at 25ft. A food blender or milling machine and louder than a garbage disposal. Even on low settings as shown towards the end, to the point FFB is a joke, braking hard and hitting some curbs and the G923 still makes a horrible noise. It's not as if it's doing a lot other than making a noise, no real feeling just noise. Which makes playing ACC a chore and late night sessions off limits unless you don't like your neighbours.
