Tour of Barentsburg March of 2023. Arrival the Billefjord a fjord tour ship from Longyearbyen. We see many Soviet style buildings..including the culture palace..apartment complex…canteen..the school, etc. Barentsburg has a population somewhere of around 400 persons and is an active coal mining town on Svalbard. This was my second of three trips to the settlement and it’s a fascinating and welcoming place to visit
